Career Goals

As a second year college student, I am deeply passionate about pursuing a career in exercise science. My fascination with the human body and its capabilities drives me to delve into this field with enthusiasm. I find immense joy in learning about the intricacies of exercise physiology and how it can positively impact overall health and well-being. Through my studies, I aspire to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to help individuals achieve their fitness goals, recover from injuries, and lead healthier lifestyles. The prospect of making a tangible difference in people's lives through exercise science is incredibly motivating to me, and I am excited to embark on this journey towards a fulfilling career in the field.

Pursuing a Passion

My ultimate career goal is to become a physician assistant (PA), and I am diligently working towards achieving this aspiration. Currently enrolled at IUPUI, I am pursuing a pre-kinesiology track with a concentration in pre-PA studies, building upon my foundational coursework in exercise science from Franklin College. My academic journey is complemented by hands-on experiences, including caring for children as a part-time nanny and assisting at a licensed home daycare. These roles have honed my interpersonal skills, adaptability, and ability to work under pressure—qualities essential for a career in healthcare. Additionally, my tenure as a hostess at Bru Burger and The Prewitt has further developed my organizational abilities and customer service acumen. Outside of academics and work, I remain active in my community by assisting with Mooresville High School Tennis Camp and participating in on and off-season practices. These experiences reinforce my commitment to serving others and make me eager to embark on a fulfilling career as a physician assistant.
